What is the history of mother's day? 

Mother's day was celebrated as a holiday in the US in 1907. There was a lady named Anna Jarvis, who wished to dedicate women's day as a holiday in honour to her late mother, Ann Reese Jarvis who passed away 3 years ago (at that time) her mother was an activist. Anna had a memorial for her mother at St. Andrew Methodist Church in the west. It is now the International Mother's day Shrine. She wanted to honour her mother as

Mother's day is celebrated on 9th May every year. It is celebrated on different days in different countries. If you are not at home then call her, a simple phone call can brighten/ light up your day, say her "I Love You".
